JESSIEVILLE -- Dennis Gene Ragsdale, 51, of Jessieville, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2020.
He was born in Hot Springs, Ark., on April 6, 1969, to Danny Gene Ragsdale and Vickie (Lankford) Ragsdale.
Preceded in death by his grandpa and grandma, Olen E. Bates and Alene Robertson; grandpa and grandma, Wiley and Linnie Ragsdale; and brother, Donald Lankford.
Survivors include his grandma, Mary Jane Bates; grandmother, Loraine Howell; mom, Bonnie Pennington; pop, Jimmy Pennington; father, Danny Ragsdale; stepmother, Kathy Ragsdale; sisters, Tami DeArmon (Corey), Misty Pennington, Stormy Howard (Tommy) and Frankie Anderson (Jeremiah); brothers, Heath Loy (Courtney), Michael Taylor (Dana) and William Taylor; four children, Nathan, Cassie and Faith Ragsdale and Corey Williamson; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Dennis worked with his best friend/brother, Andrew Moore. He was a talented landscaper in Hot Springs Village. He loved spending time with his family and friends and was a true country boy who loved to fish and hunt. He was loved by many.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Caruth Village Funeral Home in Hot Springs Village, with funeral service to be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Caruth Village Chapel with Brother Roger Harper officiating. Burial immediately following at Green Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Andrew Moore, Lawson Wideman, Mike Hamilton, Chad Seamon, Kyle Eckard, Stacie Dixon, Brandon Avant and Nicholas DeArmon. Honorary pallbearers include Mark Ragsdale, Heath Loy, Shawn Graves, Cameron DeArmon and Tristin Keen.
In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations at Caruth Village Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
