David Bassford, 44, of Hot Springs, who was being sought on a federal warrant by U.S. Marshals and for multiple failure to appear warrants and a parole violation, was apprehended Tuesday by Arkansas Community Correction's Special Response Team and the Garland County Sheriff's Office at a house on Fox Pass Cutoff. Bassford is currently being held at the Garland County Detention Center on zero bond, ACC SRT special agent Brandon Emerson said.
