ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. -- David D. Priddy, 85, of Altamonte Springs, Fla., formerly of Lonsdale, Ark., passed away Aug. 13, 2020.
He was born July 11, 1935, in Hot Springs, Ark., to Eugene and Alice Ruth (Cox) Priddy.
David was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving in Japan and Alaska. He enjoyed fishing, camping and hunting dove. David was very meticulous about keeping his yard looking good.
David was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Evelyn Hickman, Elaine Cooper and Ruby Barnette.
Survivors include son, Clark Priddy (Sherri); daughter, Kathy Dean; brother, Danny Priddy (Carolyn); sister, Margaret "Margie" Tingle (George); granddaughter, Amelia Priddy; great-grandchildren, Ashlyn, Jayden and Abby; and his much beloved dog, Benji.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.
A celebration of David's life will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home with Brother Larry Catcher officiating.
Burial will follow at Hughes Cemetery in Mountain Pine.
Pallbearers include Clark Priddy, Jay Hickman, Alan Hickman, Michael Tingle and Kevin Johnson.
Honorary pallbearers are Danny Priddy and Bill Lillard.
