HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE -- Saundra Kay Beebe MacCallen, 59, of Hot Springs Village, passed away Nov. 20, 2020.

She was born Dec. 7, 1960, in Modesto, Calif., to the late Charles and Mary Beebe.

Saundra married Frank MacCallen on June 28, 1997, in Carmichael, Calif. They lived there and traveled throughout the United States. She worked in the lawn and garden industry for 17 years in customer service and as product line manager before becoming a branch manager in Sacramento. Saundra took an early retirement to care for her mother until she passed away in 2009. She found Hot Springs Village and they moved here in June of 2012 to be closer to her daughter-in-law, Lisa Higgs, and her family.

Saundra was active in the Christ of the Hills United Methodist Church, serving on the UMW board as recording secretary, social committee and the Christmas Angel Tree for needy families. She also supported the Hot Springs Village VFW Post 10483 with their children's ID program and flag education program at three local schools.

Loving survivors include her husband, Frank MacCallen of Hot Springs Village, daughter-in-law, Lisa Higgs and husband, J.R., of Letona, Ark., grandson, Kyle Hamm and wife, Maddison, of Searcy, Ark., brother, Doug Beebe and wife, Tina, of Prosper, Texas, nephew, David Beebe and wife, Kim, great-nephew, Nathan Beebe, niece, Sarah and husband, Michael Leveroni, great-nieces, Olivia and Sophie Leveroni, brother, Wayne Beebe and wife, Laura, of Roseville, Calif., nephew, Justin Beebe, great-niece, Bryanna Beebe, nephew, Regan Haight and wife, Chelsea, great-niece, Halie Truelock, great-nephew, Haden Haight, brother, Mike Beebe and wife, Shelly, of Suwanee, Ga., niece, Clare Beebe, and nephew, Aaron Beebe.

A memorial service in Saundra's honor will be 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 7, 2020, at Christ of the Hills United Methodist Church.
