Civic clubs

Rotary Club of North Garland County, known as Scenic 7 Rotary, meets from noon-1 p.m. on the first, second and third Thursday of the month at Charlie's Pizza Pub, 127 McNeely Circle. On the fourth Thursday of the month, the club meets after hours at 5 p.m. Visitors are welcome. Support groups

Downtown Derby Dolls nonprofit roller derby league welcomes all ladies 18 years and older to drop in and give roller derby a try. All gear needed is on-site, and no experience is necessary.
