Village Art Club has named Ann Ferguson, one of its newer members, as the January Artist of the Month. "Ann's painting was done in pastels and colored pencil, and it's a real beauty," a news release said. "A lifetime of love of animals is what inspired Ann's paintings. She said she is new to the world of pastels and it is quickly becoming her favorite medium but she also loves all art forms."
