The Live Like Bryce -- The Bryce Briggs Foundation will hold its second annual Royal Blast Free Fireworks show in Sunshine on Saturday, with festivities set to kick off at 6:30 p.m. behind the Sunshine Store on Sunshine Road.

This year's event will feature music, food, and snow cones. Smokin' in Style BBQ and Shaved Ice will be available during the musical entertainment from a local artist. T-shirts for the event can also be purchased at the Sunshine Store.

Clint Reynolds with Premier Pyro will begin "the spectacular fireworks display show" at approximately 9:15 p.m., a news release said. All proceeds collected during the event will benefit the nonprofit group, Live Like Bryce -- The Bryce Briggs Foundation. Reynolds is the coordinator and pyrotechnic expert for the event.

The foundation was established to honor the life of Briggs, a 2016 Lake Hamilton graduate and freshman at Arkansas Tech University who died in December 2016 at the age of 19 due to injuries sustained in a gasoline fire. His family and friends formed the foundation "determined to not let his death define his life," family members said previously.

Parking behind Sunshine Store and areas off Timberlake Road is free. Donations for the foundation will be collected at the conclusion of the show, the release said.

All proceeds help fund the foundation's philanthropic work such as donations to Arkansas Children's Hospital, where Briggs was airlifted and treated after the accident, local educational scholarships, sponsorships to various community organizations, and help to families in need throughout the Hot Springs area.

Since Live Like Bryce is a 501(c)(3) organization, the donations are tax-deductible and "greatly appreciated," the release said. For more information, call Reynolds at 501-844-5164.

The event will follow all the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines, the release said.

Business donors for the firework show included American Termite & Pest Control, Southern Bancorp, R&R Heating & Air, Chapmond Automotive, Lake Hamilton Animal Hospital, Holcombś Transport & Recovery, Lone Wolf Body Shop, B&D Plumbing Inc, Strong Tower Wealth Management, WindowMart and Evcon Rental.
