HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE -- The Crystal Chimes Chorus has named Kay Latta the 2019-2020 Sweet Adeline of the Year.
Latta has sung four-part a cappella harmony, Barbershop-style, and been involved with Sweet Adelines International, since 1982. She belonged to Sweet Adelines choruses in Amarillo, Texas, and Kansas City, Mo., prior to moving to the Village in 1999 and joining the Chimes.
"That was a fortunate move for the chorus as she has been a very active member, playing a role in almost every event and has served as president, secretary, treasurer, costume chair, and tenor section leader. We are very proud to honor Kay with this well-deserved award," the chorus said in a news release.
