A local man on parole was arrested Friday on multiple felony charges for allegedly robbing two men last month while appearing to have a gun after they arranged to get a massage from his female accomplice, who is still being sought.

Leroy Martin Homan, 38, who lists an Oscar Point address, was taken into custody shortly after 4 p.m. and charged with two counts of aggravated robbery, punishable by up to life in prison, two counts of theft of property, punishable by up to 20 years, and two counts of breaking or entering, punishable by up to six years.

Homan, who was convicted on Sept. 23, 2013, in Garland County Circuit Court of possession of meth with purpose to deliver and tampering with physical evidence and sentenced to 18 years in prison, was being held on zero bond and was set to appear Monday in Garland County District Court.

According to the probable cause affidavits, on April 19, a local man reported a robbery, telling Hot Springs police he had responded to an advertisement online for a massage. He contacted the woman in the ad, later identified by police, and arranged to meet her at a residence at 108 Calli Lane.

Shortly after 6:30 p.m. that day, he went to the residence and the woman directed him to an upstairs bathroom and told him "he would need to clean himself" prior to the massage. He said he heard the woman go downstairs and then he noted his clothing was not where he had left it.

He said he attempted to follow the woman and was confronted by a man, later identified as Homan, who started yelling at him, "behaving as if he had a gun in his pants." The victim noted Homan kept his hand in the front of his pants and appeared to be gripping a gun.

The victim was detained against his will on the lower floor until the woman returned and gave him his car keys, clothing and cellphone back and told him to leave. He noted the woman was holding his prescription sunglasses case and asked for them back. She reportedly threw the case at him and told him it was empty now.

When the man returned to his vehicle he discovered it had been rummaged through and money and about $300 worth of CDs were missing in addition to his sunglasses. The total value of the items stolen was reportedly $850.

On April 22, a second man reported a robbery under almost exactly the same circumstances. He told police he also responded to an online ad for a massage and met a woman at 108 Calli Lane around 7:30 p.m. that same day.

He also was directed to an upstairs bathroom and told to clean up. He said the woman asked for his clothes and when he opened the door to give them to her he saw two white males in the residence. One of the men, later identified as Homan, started yelling at him and appeared to be holding a gun in his pants.

He said Homan forced him to go downstairs where he held him against his will. He noted the woman removed his wallet and keys from his pants pocket, emptied the wallet, and then went outside with his keys. She returned a short time later and gave him his clothing, keys and phone back.

The victim left and soon discovered an iPad was missing from his vehicle which he noted had been locked. In addition, money, a debit card, various ID cards and a $20 scratch-off lottery ticket were also missing, for a total loss of $665.

After Officer 1st Class Tifani McCauley took the second victim's report, she went to the Calli Lane residence and observed a vehicle parked outside. She was able to check the license plate, which returned to a local woman.

On April 24, Detective Phillip DeFoor showed a photo lineup to both victims with the woman's photo and both confirmed that was the woman they had met who participated in the robbery.

That same day, officers were at the Calli Lane residence on an unrelated matter and encountered Homan, who matched the description given by both victims. On April 30, a photo lineup was shown to both victims including Homan's photo and both identified him as the man who had robbed them.

A warrant for Homan's arrest was issued on Thursday and he was taken into custody the next day in the 600 block of West Grand Avenue. His alleged female accomplice had not been arrested as of Monday afternoon.
