Knights of Columbus takes shopping appointments -- At least through November, the Knights of Columbus welcomes appointments, as many as 10 shoppers at the same time, to shop its three buildings at 3045 Spring St. Proceeds from the sales continue to go to major Hot Springs charities. Masks are required. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Call Jim Lockwood at 501-282-7027 to request a date and time.
Support groups
Narcotics Anonymous meets at noon Monday through Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sundays at 315 W. Grand Ave. This is a 12-step recovery program for people for whom drugs have become a major problem. The Helpline number is 501-321-8700.
Alcoholics Anonymous meets daily at 8 p.m.; at 8 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday; at noon Monday-Saturday; and at 6:30 p.m. Sunday. The speaker meeting is at 11 a.m. Sunday. The step meeting is at 6 p.m. Tuesday. The men's and women's meeting is at 6 p.m. Friday. All meetings are held at 411 Sellers St. Call 501-623-6328, for more information.
