Chuck Morgan, chairman and CEO of Relyance Bank, N.A., recently announced that Marlin R. Evans has joined its Hot Springs and Hot Springs Village markets as vice president and trust officer.
Evans earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ouachita Baptist University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He started his military service with the United States Army in 2001.
Evans currently serves with the U.S. Army Reserve as the chief military intelligence officer of the 350th CACOM in Pensacola, Florida.
"He began investment advising and estate planning in 2003 and continues to serve high net worth clients in financial services and planning. He brings years of experience" as a wealth adviser and a trust officer, a news release said.
In addition to his professional and military responsibilities, Evans is a member of the Club 99 Little Rock Rotary Club, volunteers as a youth football coach with the YMCA of Hot Springs and is past director of the Saline County Relay for Life.
