National Park Medical Center recently announced that Keith Thomae, M.D., F.A.C.S, has joined its staff and will be offering general surgery care to patients throughout Hot Springs and the surrounding area.
Thomae brings more than 20 years of clinical experience to NPMC, and practices the full scope of general surgery, a news release said.
"Dr. Thomae is a great addition to our already very strong group of general surgeons," NPMC CEO Scott Smith said in the release. "We are excited about the experience and energy that he brings to our medical staff, and his dedication to our mission of Making Communities Healthier."
Thomae is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He earned his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin in Madison and completed his residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago.
Thomae practices the full scope of general surgeries, specializing in minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgical procedures. His experience also encompasses trauma and critical care surgeries; vein, thyroid and vascular surgeries; and acid reflux/GERD procedures.
