MOUNTAIN PINE -- Judy M. Johnson, 62, of Mountain Pine, Ark., passed away Oct. 7, 2020.
She was born Dec. 19, 1957, in Hot Springs, to Earl and Mary (Edge) Shelton.
Judy was a devoted wife, mother, nana, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed spending time with loved ones, singing to her grandchildren, crocheting and gambling at the slot machines. She is known for being a kind-hearted woman that welcomed everyone into her home. She was a great listener and never passed judgment.
Judy was preceded in death by her loving parents, Earl W. Shelton and Mary Lorene Shelton, her brothers, Donnie Shelton and Danny Shelton, her grandson, Little Kenny Johnson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Kenneth Johnson; fur baby, Reba Johnson; four sons, Kenny Johnson, Jeremiah (Melisa) Johnson, Johnny (Jana) Johnson, Kevin (Amelia) Johnson; grandchildren, Joshua (Kelsey) Johnson, Jeremiah "JD" Beaty, Kimberly (Hayden) Johnson, Kevin Hutchings, Lindsay (Wesley) Jordan, Jillian Johnson (Degan), Kendra Johnson, Jacob Johnson, Jayden Vuncanon, Ashlyn Vuncanon, Xoie Johnson, Abby Johnson; great-grandchildren, Julianna Johnson, River Johnson; brother, David (Debra) Shelton; sisters, Barbara (Doug) Grisham, Arlene Shelton; and lots of nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.
A celebration of Judy's life will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home with Brother Joe Thompson officiating.
Burial will follow at Rock Springs Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Joshua Johnson, Jacob Johnson, Jeremiah Johnson, Kevin Johnson, Johnny Johnson, David "Crockett" Shelton, Jeremiah Beaty and Kevin Hutchings.
Honorary pallbearers are Tracy Shelton, Thurston Pennington Jr., Jude Shelton, Cole Shelton, Micheal Rogers, Bryan Smith, Jon Walden, Dr. Erwin at Hamilton Weston and Dr. Hale.
