Eureka MBC celebrates

pastor's 61st birthday

Historic Eureka Missionary Baptist Church is celebrating Pastor Steve R. Lake on his 61st birthday.

"As your messages have touched hundreds of lives and penetrated every nook and cranny of this city and surrounding areas. We pray God continues to be your guide, give you the strength to win more souls to His Kingdom and may God's goodness and mercy continue to be with you today and always and give you the power, courage, knowledge, and wisdom to continue to propagate His words to mankind," the church said in a news release.

Living Waters COGIC sets family and friends service

Living Waters Church Of God In Christ, 306 Grove St., will hold its Praise and Worship Sunday Service on the parking lot at 10 a.m. to celebrate Family and Friends Day.

The service is open to everyone and provisions have been made to keep those in attendance safe. The host will be Pastor David L. Withers.

Union MBC to celebrate

136th anniversary

Union Missionary Baptist Church, 219 Gulpha St., will celebrate its 136th Church Anniversary on Sunday with the theme "Forever and Now."
