HD Commission

sets public hearing

The Hot Springs Historic District Commission will hold a public hearing at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at City Hall, 133 Convention Boulevard, to consider a request from the Ohio Club, 336 Central Ave., for a certificate of appropriateness application to repair building damage to the kitchen and for construction of a 10-by-17-foot addition on the rear of the structure.

FL Fire District board

to hold virtual meeting

FOUNTAIN LAKE -- The Fountain Lake Fire Protection District's board will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Monday.

"This will once again be a virtual meeting that is open to the public. If you would like to attend, please email Donna Williamson your interest at [email protected]. She will email you a link with instructions on how you can join the meeting," John L. Brandt Jr., district treasurer, said in a news release.

"We invite and encourage all members of our community to participate, but please do not come to the fire station," he said.

Tri-Lakes MPO program

available for public review

The Tri-Lakes Metropolitan Planning Organization Fiscal Year 2022 Unified Planning Work Program is available for public review and comment.

The UPWP is a one-year budget listing the various tasks, activities and associated expenses that will be performed or expended by MPO staff over the given fiscal year.

Utility work to close part

of Hobson, Second Street

Hobson Avenue, between Third and School streets, and Second Street, between Rector Street and 00010 Alley, will be closed from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday for utility construction.

Detour signs and flaggers will be in place, and motorists are asked to use an alternate route when traveling in these areas.
