The mother of two boys, ages 2 and 6, was arrested on felony child endangerment charges Monday after both of the children allegedly tested positive for drugs.

Marissa Shae Hall, 31, who lists a Cain Road address, was taken into custody shortly before 1:30 p.m. on warrants for two felony counts of first-degree endangering the welfare of a minor, punishable by up to six years in prison.

Hall, who was previously convicted of a felony count of possession of a controlled substance, meth, in 2010 and sentenced to three years' supervised probation, remained in custody Tuesday in lieu of a $10,000 bond and is set to appear today in Garland County District Court.

According to the probable cause affidavit, on March 10, a 2-year-old male and 6-year-old male were evaluated at the Cooper-Anthony Mercy Child Advocacy Center "in reference to a disclosure of abuse."

The two boys were subsequently taken into the care of the Department of Children and Family Services that same day "due to possible drug exposure" after their mother, identified as Hall, was arrested for public intoxication involving drugs and disorderly conduct. She was released the next day on a $1,000 bond.

On March 15, the two boys were evaluated at Arkansas Children's Hospital's Team for Children at Risk Medical Clinic in Little Rock for hair testing on suspicion of substance exposure.

On March 25, Garland County sheriff's Investigator Jennifer Tonseth received the lab results from the testing which reportedly showed the 2-year-old tested positive for amphetamines, methamphetamine, cannabinoids and THC.

The 6-year-old reportedly tested positive for cannabinoids and THC.

According to court records, on May 19, Hall pleaded no contest to the public intoxication charge and was ordered to pay $220 in fines and court costs while the disorderly conduct charge was withdrawn. It was noted Hall was in the Specialized Women's Services program at Harbor House and was expected to complete the program by June 23.

The warrants for Hall's arrest were issued on May 24 and she turned herself in at the sheriff's office on Monday.
