Elks Lodge 380 recently held a "20/20" fundraiser to raise funds for its Veterans' Fund, with 112 members participating.

Each participant donated $20 during the 20-week period of fundraising, and a dinner was held at the end of the period to celebrate success.

Member Johnny Butler donated steaks, so all funds collected were given directly to the Veterans' Fund.

The funds are used to provide services for local veterans, including maintaining the coffee bar at the veterans' clinic in Hot Springs, funding the "Adopt-a-Vet" program, serving a Veterans Day dinner, and providing boat rides on Lake Hamilton with lunch at the Lodge, when allowed under COVID guidelines, among other projects, a news release said.

The Elks' motto is "As long as there are Veterans, the Elks will never forget them."

Visit http://www.Elks.org, or call the Lodge at 525-1020, for more information.
