Elks Lodge honors retired Marine for community service

Hot Springs Elks Lodge 380 recently awarded retired U.S. Marine Ross Rumore its Outstanding Community Service Award for his years of service to the Hot Springs community through playing taps on his bugle.

Rumore has performed at events such as military funerals, Flag Day ceremonies, flag retirement ceremonies and many events at the Elks Lodge and at the Garland County Veterans Memorial and Military Park.

He also speaks at area schools of his experiences and to promote patriotism.
