A mobile home and nearby camper trailer on Graves Trail were destroyed by a fire that erupted Monday morning, 70 West Fire Department Chief Autumn Carlisle told The Sentinel-Record.

Firefighters from 70 West were dispatched to the area of 199 Graves Trail, located off Brunswick Drive, for a fully involved residential fire and arrived to find a single-wide mobile home and RV/camper at 193 Graves Trail both fully engulfed, Carlisle said, noting the home was unoccupied at the time of the fire.

Firefighters "were able to attack the fire quickly and keep it from spreading into tall grass, brush and (the) wooded area around the structure," she said.

Entergy and Centerpoint Energy arrived and confirmed there were no utilities to the structure, Carlisle said, noting the cause of the fire was unknown on Monday. The mobile home, its contents, and the camper were all a complete loss.

The department responded with two fire apparatus and six personnel and Piney Fire Department provided mutual aid with two fire apparatus and four personnel, Carlisle said.

LifeNet EMS provided an ambulance for standby because of the heat and Garland County Sheriff's deputies also responded to the scene to help.
