HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE -- The Hot Springs Village Property Owners' Association Board of Directors election will be held on April 1.
HSVPOA has contracted with a third-party election service, The Inspectors of Elections, to conduct the election, a news release said.
Members have the option of voting online, which is preferred, or by paper ballot, the release said. TIE mailed ballot packets on Feb. 26 to members in good standing, it said.
Notice of the election, candidate resumes, ballot, voting instructions, and username and password for online voting are included in the ballot packet. TIE also emailed voting instructions and username and password to members with email addresses on file. Members may vote upon receipt of voting instructions. The voting deadline is March 31 at 4 p.m.
"If you have any questions regarding the information and ballot you receive, please call The Inspectors of Election at 888-211-5332 or email [email protected]," the release said.
TIE will provide an official certification report and election results to the board on April 1. The general manager will then issue a news release notifying members of the election results.
Newly elected board members will be seated at the conclusion of the Wednesday, April 21, board meeting, the release said.
