The NSDAR John Percifull Chapter will meet by Zoom on Thursday with the Ritual beginning at 11 a.m.
The speaker will be Helen Carter Moore, who will discuss the Kate Duncan Smith DAR School.
Moore attended Kate Duncan Smith DAR school from second through 12th grade. After graduating in 1979, she attended David Lipscomb University in Nashville, graduating in 1983. She has been in the insurance industry her entire career.
Moore and her husband, Marty, live in Houston County, Tenn. In the DAR, Moore is a member of the Old Reynoldsburgh Chapter, where she was regent for six years and is currently serving as chapter treasurer.
At the state level, she has served as Cumberland District secretary and currently serves as co-chair of the State Conference Committee as well as co-editor of the State Regents Cookbook project.
