JESSIEVILLE -- Tommy Edward Savall, of Jessieville, passed away Jan. 16, 2021, in a local hospital.

Born Jan. 16, 1954, Tommy was able to have the ultimate birthday party by celebrating in Heaven with Christ his Savior, his parents, family and friends. Tommy was a lifelong resident of Jessieville and he retired with 40 years of service from the U.S. Forest Service Jessieville Ranger District. His hobbies were hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Tommy was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Alia M. Savall; sister, Verniece; and brother-in-law, Ronny Noles.

Tommy was married to the love of his life, Tina, for 26 years. He is survived by his wife; daughters, Lindsey Arndt (Teylor) of Hot Springs and Alia N. Savall of Jessieville. Other survivors include sisters, Wanda Noles, Jeanie Savall, both of Jessieville; brother, James "Bud" Savall of Jessieville; in-laws, James and Linda Niblett of Jessieville; several nieces and nephews; and furbabies, Charlie and Snoopy.

Pallbearers include Farron Foley, Davey Foley, Levi Foley, Tyler Jones, Robert Murders, Thomas Lephiew and Sean O'Keane. Honorary pallbearers are the employees and retirees of the Jessieville Ranger District, nurses and staff of CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs 4 West and ICU, Marvell Blocker, Joe Niblett and the members of the Savall Hunting Club.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today at Caruth Village Funeral Home.

A celebration of Tommy's life will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Caruth Village Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at New Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lake Hamilton School District Special Services Activity Fund, 205 Wolf St., Pearcy, AR 71964.
