Ernesteen (Woodall) "Tina" Neighbors, 69, of Hot Springs, went to be with the Lord on Jan. 25, 2021.
She was born Sept. 9, 1951, in Hammond, Ind., to Ernest and Ruby Woodall. Ernesteen was lovingly known as Mom, Mamma and GamMall, per Hunter and Abilene. She married Don Milton Neighbors on June 22, 1972, and at that time, they said there are no step-kids in our family.
Ernesteen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don Milton Neighbors; sister, Marie Felts; brother, Lonnie Woodall; great-grandsons, Samual Milton Hall, Chance "Bubba" Neighbors; daughter, Mary Ann Inman; granddaughter, Tabitha Ann Forrest; and grandson, Josh Dickson.
Loving survivors include their children, Michelle (Tommy) Alford, Carrie (Virgil) Burkes, Sandra Neighbors, Steve Neighbors, Cindy (Travis) Forrest, Jimmy Miller and Tammy Dickson; grandchildren, Shelbi (Jake) Hall, Jonathan (Krystal) Neighbors, Billy (Erica) Alford, Vicki Mutter, Darien Burks, Sammie Burks, Nichole (Jody) Meredith, Jessica Bates, Stevie (Greg) Martinez, Chance (Kayla) Neighbors, Danny Neighbors, Carol Neighbors, Mark Roberts, Colton Roberts, Michael Diggs, Richard, Kenno, Bobby, and Ty Forrest, Cheyenne (Cody) Thompson, Jay Martinez and Tristen Martinez; two sisters, Pat (Tommy) Hindman, Sherry Carey-Wicker-Woodall; her first great-grandchild born on her 63rd birthday, Hunter James Lee Neighbors; other great-grandchildren, Abilene Jayne Neighbors, Alliyah Marie Eder, Izaih Joshua Milton Hall, Jozeph Anthony Milton Hall, Nevaeh Marie Hall "Boss Lady," Payton, Caroline, Cameron Alford, Kayla, Keileigh, Skyler Mutter, Savannah Helms; and many nieces and nephews.
A life celebration for Ernesteen will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home with Brother Lee Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Jonathan Neighbors, Chance Neighbors, Danny Neighbors, Mark Roberts, Colton Roberts and Darrin Berry. Honorary pallbearers are Robert and Brenda Helms, and the staff of Quapaw Nursing and Rehabilitation.
