ARKANSAS SCHOOL FOR MATHEMATICS, SCIENCES, AND THE ARTS

Back to school special

The Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts is an opportunity unlike any other high school in Arkansas. The best way to learn more about the residential experience is to attend an admissions event on the Hot Springs campus or one of the many free, out-of-school enrichment programs hosted by the faculty.

Preview Days

Preview Days help families discover life and learning at ASMSA -- Arkansas' premier public high school as well as one the most prestigious public high schools in the nation. These half-day events held throughout the year include overview presentations, campus tours, as well as personalized Q&A sessions for students and parents.

Focus Weekends

Focus Weekends are the best opportunity for students who are in the process of applying to ASMSA to experience what it is like to be a Dolphin. These events are designed to help applicants connect with faculty and peers in their area of interest. Attendees will attend a Saturday-morning session taught by one of ASMSA's many dynamic instructors. Each Focus Weekend has a different academic focus. An admissions overview presentation, campus tour, and lunch are also included for the attendee and their family. To ensure as many prospective students as possible are able to participate in ASMSA's programming, we limit each applicant to attending only one Focus Weekend.

Online Information Sessions

Online Information Sessions are a great way to learn more about ASMSA from the comfort of home. Sessions are an hour long and take place on weeknight evenings.

The Life and Learning at ASMSA Information Session provides an overview of the many opportunities available at ASMSA. These sessions are hosted by an ASMSA Admissions Representative and include Q&A with current ASMSA students.

Subject specific Information Sessions allow students to dive deeper into different aspects of the ASMSA experience. Each session is moderated by an ASMSA Admissions Representative and includes Q&A with current ASMSA students, faculty, and staff.
