Kindergarten and new student registration, as well as re-enrollment for current Trojan students, is all open.

New student registration

In order to complete New Student Registration for the 2021-2022 school year, families should complete the HSSD Registration Packet at https://tinyurl.com/zx6jh26j, and provide the following items to their school: proof of birth; immunization (shot) records; physical assessment; copy of Social Security card; and proof of address.

Returning student registration

For students entering grades 1-6 (currently in grades K-5):

ā€¢ To ensure that the student is re-enrolled for the 2021-2022 school year, make sure that the one-page Re-Enrollment Form that was sent home by the child's homeroom teacher is completed. Request a printed version from the school, or find the form to print and complete at https://www.hssd.net/parents/registration/returning_student_registration.

ā€¢ Make plans to attend Open House on Aug. 12 to verify that all of the child's information is correct, and to sign required forms.

For students entering grades 7-12 (currently in grades 6-11):

ā€¢ School counselors have already met with students to build schedules for the 2021-2022 school year. When the child met with the school counselor, they were automatically re-enrolled as an HSSD student. As long as the student has met with their school counselor, there is no further action needed. A date for students to pick up their schedules will be announced at a later time.

ā€¢Make plans to attend Open House on Aug. 12 to verify that all of the child's information is correct, and to sign required forms.

The Hot Springs School District District Administration Office is located at 400 Linwood Ave., Hot Springs. Call 501-624-3372.

HSSD will offer a virtual learning option for the 2021-2022 school year for students in grades seventh through 12th. This option will allow families the flexibility of learning at any time while maintaining the integrity and connection of HSSD school programs.

Students in seventh through 12th grade who wish to remain at home for instruction while maintaining the structure of a school day may choose to attend the Trojan Virtual Academy.

Seventh through 12th-grade students will complete courses aligned with HSSD curriculum pacing asynchronously through Apex with an assigned teacher who will provide content support and monitor their progress on a bi-monthly basis.
