Earth Angel

The Earth Angel Recycling Program is the city's curbside recycling service. It is provided free of charge as part of the services provided by the Hot Springs Solid Waste Department.

"Recycling is the best way to protect the environment from overburdened landfills while reducing costs. By taking part in the Earth Angel Recycling Program, you have the opportunity to help ensure a healthy future for our community," the department says.

The Earth Angel truck collects aluminum cans, brown paper grocery bags, corrugated cardboard, plastic grades No. 1 and No. 2, newsprint, telephone books, leaves, grass, and small brush.

The city will furnish the container and a calendar of scheduled collection days. The container should be placed curbside prior to 6 a.m. for pickup. Anyone who is not currently participating the Earth Angel Recycling Program and would like to get involved may call 321-6911 or sign up online at http://www.cityhs.net/recycle- registration.
