The Muses will celebrate spring and Gaelic charm with "Celtic Spring" March 11-14.

Showcasing Irish, Scottish, and English ballads, including traditional favorites, such as "Molly Malone," "Danny Boy," "Mo Ghille Mear," "Parting Glass," and "The Rocky Road to Dublin," "Celtic Spring," is the Muses' first concert in its 2021 "Seasons in Art & Song" subscription concert series, March 11-14, at the Muses Cultural Arts Center, 428 Orange St.

Show dates and times are as follows:

• Thursday, March 11 -- 6 p.m. This is the Student Show. All artists, students, and teachers are admitted free, but must call the Muses to register.

• Friday, March 12 and Saturday, March 13 -- 6 p.m.

• Sunday, March 14 -- 3 p.m.

Irish harpist Shana Norton and flutists Adrienne Inglis and Kristin Grant, pianist Kristen La Madrid, and drummer Brandon Brockinton are joined by sopranos Deleen Davidson, Ruth'e Korelitz, Katy Yerina Brockinton, Roxy Kirchoff and Erica Shoelkopf, with "talented dancers, and a mixed voice ensemble of Muses young artists and vocal apprentices," a news release said.

"In a resounding tribute to St Patrick and his beloved 'Emerald Isles,' these extraordinary performers will touch your hearts as they present beautiful and uplifting music that celebrates Gaelic beauty, charm and tradition," the release said.

According to current COVID-19 protocols, attendees are asked to wear masks and temperatures will be taken at the door. All seats are reserved and limited due to social distancing requirements. Call the Muses at 501-609-9811 for information, to reserve seats and to purchase tickets, which are $35.

"If you're ready to attend highly entertaining, live, musical events, don't miss 'Celtic Spring!' Call for information about this Muses' 2021 season opener, and the other concerts -- Broadway, Opera, & Voices of Angels -- in the subscription series," the release said.

Support for the Muses Project is provided, in part, by the Arkansas Arts Council, an agency of the Department of Arkansas Heritage, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
