Hot Springs Elks Lodge 380 presented Boy Scouts of America Troop 10 with an Outstanding Community Service Award for their involvement in the Hot Springs community through their Eagle Scout projects, as well as for participating in events at the Elks Lodge.

The Boy Scouts have performed, at the Elks Lodge, American flag retirement ceremonies, flag-raising ceremonies, participated in the annual Flag Day ceremony, and have assisted with various events there, according to a news release.

The Scouts have also been invited to participate in today's flag-raising ceremony at Alliance Rubber to raise the new American flag to replace the one stolen from the property, it said.

Along with their community service projects, the Troop 10 Boy Scouts are active with campouts and many other activities.
