Kent David, 67, passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2021. He was born on Nov. 16, 1953, to Mervyn and Ada Belle David in Hannibal, Mo. He served in the Vietnam War in the U.S. Navy, was a pharmaceutical salesman for GlaxoSmithKline, and lived life with immense joy for his wife, kids and granddaughter. His smile could light up a room.
He was predeceased by his father, Mervyn David; brother, Terrill David; and son-in-law, Jimmy Nichols.
Survivors include his loving wife, Guqueta David, of Bryant; two daughters, Keegan Nichols, of Russellville, Ark., and Morgan Hager (Dustin); granddaughter, Brynli Hager, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; his mother, Ada Carr, of Hot Springs; two sisters, Lee (C.O.) Palmer, of Hot Springs, and Susan David and husband, Robert Swaim, of Little Rock; and one sister-in-law, Sarah David.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Crestview Memorial Park with Dr. Jim Lagrone officiating.
Military honors will be the U.S. Navy and the Hot Springs Village Honor Guard.
