East Coast Carry the Load representatives, Hot Springs police and community members joined together to walk along Central Avenue Wednesday as part of the annual 15,500-mile national relay that began in West Point, N.Y.
After making its way from the HSPD to the La Quinta Inn and Suites, Carry the Load will continue its journey toward Dallas where the relay will conclude on Memorial Day.
The purpose of the event is to honor and remember fallen veterans and first responders.
