Shaun Robinson has joined Chambers Bank as a loan officer in Hot Springs, the bank announced recently in a news release.

Robinson has more than 18 years of experience in the financial services industry, most recently serving as market president and SVP of commercial lending for Bank OZK, it said.

"We are thrilled to add Shaun to our Chambers Bank team," David Wooldridge, regional president and chief lending officer, said in the release. "His breadth of experience in commercial lending will be a tremendous asset to our customers in Hot Springs and throughout the region."

A native of Jonesboro, Robinson began his career as a small-business owner. He is a graduate of Barrett School of Banking in Memphis.

"Hot Springs continues to be an important part of our growth strategy for Chambers Bank," President Mike Donnell said in the release. "As a community bank, we want to hire team members who are committed to helping their customers and their communities. We believe that Shaun is the perfect person to help us expand our market in Hot Springs."

Robinson and his wife, Dedra, moved to Hot Springs 18 years ago. Dedra Robinson is a teacher and coach in the Lake Hamilton School District, and they have three children.

"I am very excited about the opportunity to work with the Chambers Bank team," Robinson said in the release. "Most of my career has been spent in the banking industry, and I look forward to continuing that tradition by helping improve the financial well-being and quality of life for our current and new customers throughout this great community."
