O.J. (Jay) Garner, 87, of Hot Springs, passed away Oct. 8, 2021.
He was born in Amity, Ark., to the late Jesse and Ophelia Garner.
O.J. was of Christian faith and professed his acceptance of Christ as his savior to his sister and daughter on the day of his passing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Ophelia Garner; two spouses, Mildred Garner and Lasca Garner; a loving companion, Helen Harwell; daughter, Debbie Kiser; and all but one of his brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his sons, Jason Sutton and Tim Sutton; daughters, Rosa Ray, Trina Adair, Heather Jensen and Trisha Sanders; sister, Christine Stoic; 21 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. today at Hollywood Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Chris Jones, Chris Cash, Thomas Glasscoke, RJ Sanders, Daniel Sanders and Jesse Sanders.
Honorary pallbearers include BJ Jones, Joey Charles, Jose Rios and Tim Sutton.
Arrangements are by Hot Springs Funeral Home.
