St. Luke's Episcopal Day School students carried on a long-standing tradition Friday and gathered on the front steps of The Sentinel-Record in their costumes for a group photograph following the school's annual Halloween Parade and trick-or-treat visit.

Betsy Atkins, director of the school, noted St. Luke's is just across the street from the hometown newspaper's office at 300 Spring, and the Halloween visit has taken place "for decades."
