Park Magnet School students held classroom celebrations and festivities after watching a Department of Education announcement video naming the school one of its National Blue Ribbon Schools on Wednesday. The school was among four in Arkansas for 2021.

On Tuesday, Park Magnet School was named one of four National Blue Ribbon Schools in Arkansas for 2021 by U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona, according to a news release from the U.S. Department of Education.

The other Arkansas schools named as National Blue Ribbon Schools were Carolyn Lewis Elementary School, Conway Public Schools; Hugh Goodwin Elementary School, El Dorado School District; and Portland Elementary School, Hamburg School District.
