A ServSafe Certified Food Manager Course that complies with Arkansas Health Department requirements for food service facilities will be offered on Feb. 21 and 28 at Center Fork Baptist Church, 1101 S. Moore Road.
Training will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 21, with a review and the test on Monday, Feb. 28, from 1-4 p.m.
The course will be offered at a cost of $140 for new managers and $60 for recertifications, test only. The course cost pays for the eight-hour class, book and the exam. Participants who pass the exam will receive a ServSafe Food Manager Certification good for five years. All participants must preregister and pay by Jan. 24. Class size is limited. Once the Servsafe books are distributed, they are nonrefundable, a news release said.
