A passenger vehicle came to rest on its roof in the 2300 block of Park Avenue after colliding with another vehicle shortly before 9 a.m. Tuesday.
The driver of the passenger vehicle was reportedly traveling south on Park "at a high rate of speed" when it crossed the centerline and struck the northbound vehicle, which was stopped for construction in the area, Hot Springs police Officer 1st Class Omar Cervantes said, causing it to overturn.
The driver of the silver vehicle was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries while the driver of the northbound vehicle was not injured. Traffic was affected for several minutes until the vehicles could be cleared from the scene.
