Bill Ballenger concert Sunday at Glory Barn

The Glory Barn Church, 138 Treasure Isle Road, will present "Songs and Stories With Billy Ballenger" on Sunday.

Ballenger will speak at 10:45 a.m. Sunday, with a concert at 6 p.m. as part of Faith Like A Child: "The Acoustic Tour." Doors open at 5 p.m.

"Billy has a testimony of deliverance from drugs," a news release said. "He and his 'girlfriend at the time' were both sent to prison where they found Christ as LORD and savior. From there he grew in faith and was reunited with his child and his wife. He is on fire for our LORD -- singing God's praises and proclaiming God's love to all."

Ballenger has been interviewed on TBN, the 700 Club, and on the James Robinson's program, according to the release.

"He has for several years ministered in public schools with his team of young people encouraging our youth to never use drugs but more importantly to live for our loving God; giving them a hope and reason to live. He will be giving his testimony and singing contemporary Christian songs Sunday morning at The Glory Barn Church at 10:45 a.m. and will give a full concert with his acoustic team of guitarists at 6 p.m.," it said. The concert is free.
