Elks Lodge 380 initiated Gregg and Beth Allen into the Lodge on June 15.
The new members were encouraged to participate in Lodge activities, such as volunteering with veterans' projects, donating and delivering supplies to the Humane Society, volunteering with Americanism projects, helping in the kitchen, among the many Lodge activities, a news release said.
They were also encouraged to attend events open to members, such as the upcoming "Tiki Party," karaoke, various dinners and theme parties.
Following initiation, Donnie Golden, PSP, was presented with a plaque in recognition of his service as Exalted Ruler of the Lodge for 2021-2022, the release said.
Also recognized during the meeting was Henry Parker, who was elected to Life Membership, after his more than 30 years as an active Elk.
