Upcoming meeting
Garland County Republican Women will welcome the Rev. Iverson Jackson as its guest speaker during its July 11 meeting at the Garland County Library. Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. with the meeting following at 1 p.m. Jackson is the senior pastor of Zoe Bible Church in Little Rock and is president of the GOP African-American Coalition and is "well known for being a strong activist for the Republican Party of Arkansas." The public is welcome to attend.

Narcotics Anonymous meets at noon Monday through Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sundays at 315 W. Grand Ave. This is a 12-step recovery program for people for whom drugs have become a major problem. The Helpline number is 501-321-8700.
Alcoholics Anonymous meets daily at 8 p.m.; at 8 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday; at noon Monday-Saturday; and at 6:30 p.m. Sunday. The speaker meeting is at 11 a.m. Sunday.
