Nu Era to celebrate

Third AnNUvERsAry

Nu Era will host a Sneaker Gala at 7:30 p.m. today at 219 Gulpha St. to celebrate its Third AnNUvERsAry.

Nu Era Choir is a young adult choir that's devoted to representing Christ and drawing souls through authentic praise and worship. The choir is made up of members from the central Arkansas and Mississippi area.

"A few years ago, God spoke the very existence of Nu Era Choir into my life and very soon after my vision was birthed," founder Kennion Gulley said in a news release.

"God has truly proven himself to Nu Era Choir as we have been blessed to bump shoulders with notable gospel artists such as Dorinda Clark-Cole, Ricky Dillard, and Paul Porter to name a few. Even in the midst of a worldwide pandemic God allowed our choir to still thrive," he said.

All ages are welcome. There will be food, door prizes, music, photo booths and other activities. Tickets are $25 and are available at the door.
