HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE -- Brush Strokes Art Club in Hot Springs Village is sponsoring a workshop on June 15 and 16 featuring Linda Lucas Hardy.
"Hardy is a nationally recognized colored pencil artist and an 18-year veteran of teaching and workshop instruction. She has taught classes and workshops in 15 states and two countries to thousands of students," a news release said.
"During that time her work has been juried into more than 80 national and international exhibitions, where she has frequently won Best of Show. Articles about her work have been featured in two dozen magazines and sixteen books," the release said.
She will also be a featured artist in the June/July 2022 issue of International Artists Magazine. Hardy is a 15-year merit award recipient in the Colored Pencil Society of America and is a Signature member in numerous other art organizations, the release said.
