ROWLETT, Texas -- Willie Mae Murray, 93, of Rowlett, Texas, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2022.
She was born Dec. 31, 1928, in Buckville, Ark., to the late Argust and Cora Robbins McElrath.
She was predeceased by her parents and husband, James Murray; Recie Emerson, Albert McElrath, Jim McElrath, Ernestine Beard, Viola Oats and Ida Parkus.
Survivors include her son, Larry Murray, wife Tonya. Grandson, Brandon Murray, and great-grandsons, Jagger and Paxton.
Sisters, Mary Bearden and Ruth Blair. A host of nephews and nieces and grands.
She retired from Southwestern Bell after 36 years of service. She was a past president of the Telephone Pioneers.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday at Hot Springs Funeral Home.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Shiloh Cemetery, Jessieville, Ark., with Jimmy Scott officiating.
