Broadway Terrace at Church reopened

Through a joint effort of the city's Engineering Department and Stormwater and Street divisions, Broadway Terrace, at the intersection of Church Street, has reopened following completion of sinkhole repairs and resurfacing of the roadway.

The crews replaced a drain pipe on Feb. 22 and the sinkhole and surrounding areas were backfilled with dirt and flowable fill, and new pavement was placed on Thursday. Utility companies also removed lines from the area and moved them underground or to the south side of the street.
