New Salem Methodist Church

New Salem Methodist Church, 1798 Mountain Pine Road, will meet at 9:30 a.m. Palm Sunday. Pastor Chuck Huffman and the congregation "will lead a service of Entering and Waving Palm Branches, with hymns, then all go to the Foot of the Cross and leave your sins there, and receive Holy Communion," the church said. Huffman will read Matthew 27:27-50, with the message "The Cross Next Door."
