Pop-Up Sunday School set at First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church, 213 Whittington Ave., will hold a Pop-Up Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. Sunday.
"Carrie Montgomery from The Hope Movement will join us to discuss how their center is teaching women that Jesus can be the answer to a life needing healing and wholeness," a news release said.
The Hope Movement helps coach and teach women recovering from an addictive lifestyle how they can apply practical applications of biblical teachings in their day-to-day life.
"You will hear firsthand experiences from one of their graduates as well as how The Hope Movement is assisting women in the community by providing a safe living environment and life and skill training for gainful employment opportunities all of which can empower participants as they follow Jesus.
