The Hot Springs Solid Waste Department's Recycling Center, located at 218 Runyon St., accepts electronic waste for recycling from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays.
E-waste materials included in the program are monitors, CPUs (computers), keyboards, VCRs, DVDs, televisions, microwaves, electronic games, cellphones and other small electronic items.

Last week, the Earth Angels of Hot Springs recycled:
203 pounds -- Aluminum cans.
65,000 pounds -- Commercial cardboard.
2,607 pounds -- Corrugated cardboard.
615 pounds -- Newspaper.
807 pounds -- Plastic grades No. 1 and No. 2.
74,040 pounds -- Yard waste and C.A.P.S.
Last week, a total of 73.34 tons of recyclable materials were kept out of the landfill.
