On May 25, 2023, two Earthly Angels, Marlee Jo and Dana Kate Fryar, left this Earth and went to Heaven to be with their Lord and Savior.

Marlee Jo was born in North Little Rock, Ark., on Dec. 17, 2012. She was a young Christian, strong in her faith and was often found ministering to others. She was very kindhearted, funny and tough as a boot. She had a true competitive spirit in everything she attempted. She was a beautiful, freckled-faced "Cowgirl" and loved riding horses, rodeoing, playing softball and spending time with her family.

Dana Kate was born in North Little Rock, Ark., on Dec. 11, 2015. She was a faithful child and following in her sister's footsteps and had a true love for Jesus. She was sweet, nurturing and "Your true ride or die!" She could give you some looks like no other. She was a free spirit and truly lived up to her namesake. She was a bossy, lip-licking spitfire; and at the same time, was laid back and didn't get overly excited about anything. She was artistic, loved to draw and had dreams of becoming a teacher like her Nanny and Pops.

Marlee Jo and Dana Kate were students at Bismarck Elementary School. They excelled at ATRA and SJRA rodeo associations. They began their faith journey at Crossroads Cowboy Church El Paso and actively worshiped and served at Crossroads Cowboy Church Bismarck. They were preceded in death by grandmother, Dana Jo (Granna) Smith; great-grandparents, John Daniel (P-Paw) and Jo Ann (Mama Jo) Holman, Ruall L. (Papa) and Eva L. (MawMaw) Smith, John and Ernestine Hinson.

Cherishing in their memory are parents, Chad and Rachel Fryar; brother, Bo Henry Fryar; grandparents, Ron (Poppa) and Kathy (KK) Smith and Reggie (Pops) and Sandy (Nanny) Fryar; uncle, Jacob Smith (Tina), and cousins, Jayla Gimnich (Layne), Kelby and Channer Smith; aunt, Erin Gaston (Courtney) and cousins, Camdyn, Colt, Cassidy and Cresslyn Gaston; uncle, Robert (Ashton) Fryar; great-grandparents, Lee Roy (Papaw) and Patsy (Granny Pat) Fryar and Gerry (Granny Ma) and Bobby James; and a host of other loved ones, including aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Crossroads Cowboy Church, 3071 AR-5, El Paso, AR 72045, from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, June 4, 2023.
