Caroline Grace Chadick, 6 years old, of Hot Springs National Park, Ark., passed away May 29, 2023.

She was born Dec. 26, 2016, in Hot Springs, Ark., to Jordan and Melissa Chadick.

Caroline Grace Chaddick entered this world with a bright, bubbly and sassy personality. She never met a stranger. Caroline had a magnetic, magical soul that would attract anyone to her.

Caroline was born to dance. She danced everywhere she went. She participated in competitive dance at Dance Art Studio in Hot Springs, where she enjoyed the spotlight like her mama and the friends around her. Among other things she liked to do were painting, drawing and swimming. She was very artistic.

Caroline just graduated kindergarten from Lake Hamilton, where she loved her school and adored her teacher. She was very eager to learn, especially learning to read.

Caroline was surrounded by loving people no matter where she was. She treasured the moments she shared with her family, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. She cherished many bear hugs from her Papa (grandfather) and all the fun times she spent with her Donna (grandmother), "they were big buddies."

Her cousin Jahna Tess made sure to carry on with their Nina's (grandmother) tradition of competitively playing Mario Kart, where Caroline overly enjoyed beating her cousin Declan in the game. She also looked forward to her trips to Fayetteville, where she and cousin Marron always "dolled up" with makeup and lots of lipstick and where she and sister Anna Kate loved to pester cousin Conner. Caroline also idolized her two older cousins, Blaine and Blake.

Caroline's most favorite person of all was her sister, Anna Kate. As recently stated by Caroline, "her best friend in the whole wide world is Anna Kate and I want to be just like her."

Caroline Grace Chadick brought so much love and life to her family and anyone lucky enough to have met her. She was our Wildflower, our Care-Bear and our Caribou.

Caroline was preceded in death by her grandmother, Tess Wright, and grandfather, Mark Chadick.

Survivors include her parents, Jordan and Melissa Chadick; her sister, Anna Kate Chadick. Beverly "Donna" Chadick, of Hot Springs. Grandfather, Barry "Papa" Wright and Tina Brown, of Hot Springs. Uncle and aunt, Todd and Michelle Merriott, of Hot Springs, and their sons, Blaine and Blake Merriott. Uncle and aunt, Timotei "Tim" and Mary Kate Pricop, of Hot Springs, and their children, Jahna Tess and Declan Pricop. Uncle Braden and Amber Mathews, of Little Rock and his children, Marron and Conner Chadick. And many cousins, great-aunts and -uncles.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, with a celebration of Caroline's life beginning at 2 p.m. Pastor Lance Arguello will officiate. All are encouraged to wear bright colors.
