WHITES CREEK, Tenn. -- D.B. Kellogg, 70, of Whites Creek, Tenn., peacefully passed away on Dec. 27, 2022, at home.

Dimples was born June 11, 1952, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Hot Springs, Ark. She was the daughter of Dean T. (Pete) Brown and Nancy Ovella Matlock Brown, who preceded her in death.

Survived by her husband of 45 years, Maurice (Scotty) Kellogg; sister, DeAnna Rogers of Hot Springs; nephew, Jeff Rogers of North Little Rock; niece, Amanda Kowalski (Bob) of Mansfield, Texas; three great-nephews and her two rescue "fur babies," Ross and Scout.

Dimples attended Jones Elementary, Southwest Junior High and was a 1970 graduate of Hot Springs High School. She then attended University of Central Arkansas in Conway, and received her bachelor's degree, and to University of Oklahoma in Norman for her master's degree. After marriage and moving to Tennessee, she began her copy editing business and became an extraordinary ghost writer and editor for several nationally known clients and publishers.

A celebration of Dimple's life is being planned for a later date.

Memorials in her honor can be sent to a charity of your choice or a dog rescue organization.
