Men's Day program
Historic Visitors Chapel A.M.E. Church, 319 Church St., will present the Men's Day program "Standing Our Ground! Men Excelling In The Work Of The Lord" at 11 a.m. Sunday, March 19, with guest speaker the Rev. O. Jerome Green.
"As a result of all this, my loved brothers and sisters, you must stand firm, unshakable, excelling in the work of the Lord as always, because you know that your labor isn't going to be for nothing in the Lord," states 1 Corinthians 15:58, CEB.
The Right Rev. Michael L. Mitchell is presiding bishop; the Rev. James H. Giles Sr. is presiding elder; the Rev. Charlene N. Boone is senior pastor; the Rev. Randolph Martin Sr. is a retired elder, associate minister; the Rev. Gregory E. Guinn is associate minister; and the Rev. Jerry Evans is associate minister.
